I’m Gaj, a UX/UI designer based in Melbourne with 12 years of experience in user interfaces, user experiences, graphic design, and website development. My passion for all aspects of design drives my natural curiosity, pushing me to explore, investigate, and learn continually. This trait also reflects my personality as a designer; I consider myself a perfectionist who loves to delve into new areas of design. Consequently, my design approach balances divergent and convergent thinking, artistic instinct and scientific methodology, creative exploration and an obsession with detail.

Over the past 20 years, I have lived and worked in Melbourne and regional Victoria, gaining experience in managing UI component libraries and building responsive websites that encompass layout, structure, and the creation of UI assets. I have enhanced my UX design skills through various projects, including developing an iOS application, a web app, and responsive websites, as well as adding features to existing platforms.

Currently, I am a Senior UI/UX Design Specialist and increasingly passionate about integrating AI tools into my workflow to improve efficiency and speed up delivery. I am proficient in remote work, adept at handling complex projects under strict deadlines. Throughout my career, I have learned to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including product managers and engineers. My versatile experience, combined with my ability to connect with others, helps me foster an excellent work environment within my team.
